Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the way companies manage and operate. However, the acceleration of digitalization has also created new challenges, particularly related to compliance with increasingly complex and dynamic regulations. This study aims to analyze the role of regulatory compliance in optimizing company management in the digital era, with a focus on how appropriate regulatory implementation can support operational efficiency, risk management, and business sustainability. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with literature studies, in-depth interviews, and analysis of regulatory documents related to industrial sectors impacted by digitalization. The results show that the integration of compliance technology (RegTech) can accelerate the process of fulfilling legal obligations, increase transparency, and reduce the potential for violations. Companies with digital compliance systems tend to be more responsive to regulatory changes, gain greater trust from stakeholders, and have more optimal management performance. The study's conclusions emphasize that regulatory compliance is not only a legal obligation but also a crucial management strategy in the digital era. Effective compliance implementation requires collaboration between regulators, business actors, and technology providers to create an efficient, adaptive, and sustainable business ecosystem.
